Where can we park?
There will be parking available at the Mariners' Museum, and overflow parking will be available in the CNU parking garage near the Ferguson Center. Shuttle buses will be provided.

What do I get for my race entry fee?
* Technical shirt for the first 1000 registered
* Free Chick-fil-A sandwich and other goodies at the finish
* Custom Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows finisher medal for the kids
* All participants and their guests can enjoy the Family Festival post-race!

Can you describe the course?
A fast, all-paved two loop 5K course through the Mariners' Museum property, starting and finishing with crowds of Chick-fil-A Cows cheering you on! This USATF certified course is smooth, easy to follow and perfect for runners or walkers of all levels! The Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows Family Fun Run is a flat half mile.
Are baby strollers or pets allowed during the race?
If you choose to run with a baby jogger, please place yourself at the back of the pack of runners. We ask that you take extra precaution for your safety, your child's safety and for the safety of the runners around you.
Wheelchair runners will be allowed on a limited basis. Please contact us if you are a wheelchair runner participant.
Pets, bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates, etc., are not permitted in the races.
Are the races walker-friendly?
Walkers are welcome in all the races. However, there are no awards categories for walkers.
How can I sign up for the running events?
You may register for the Chick-fil-A 5k or the Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows online at www.CFA5K.com.

How can I check if I'm registered?
You may check to confirm your registration here.
Will I receive a refund if I cannot attend?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for any reason whatsoever.
Can I transfer my registration to another runner?
No. Due to insurance and liability requirements, the new runner must complete a new registration.
Can I register on race day?
While we strongly encourage you to pre-register on line, race day registration will begin at 6:30am. We will be expecting a heavy crowd that morning, and on-line registration will allow you to skip the lines.
Do you take credit cards for registration?
Credit cards may be used for online and walk-up registration. Mailed-in paper registration forms must have a check or money order enclosed.
What are the Age Group Categories and Awards?
Non-monetary awards will be given to the top three overall male and female runners; and the top three overall male and female runners in each age group: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over.
Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows Family Fun Run: There are no age group categories, and the run is not timed. Registered participants in the Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows will receive a finisher's medal at the finish line.
Are the age restrictions on the races?
There are no minimum or maximum age restrictions on either event.
How will I receive my race packet?
Pre-registered runners should plan to pick up their packets before race day.
Thursday, May 24: 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.
Friday, May 25: 9:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, as long as they have a copy of your photo ID, and a permission letter signed by you, or a copy of your registration confirmation email. You do not need identification to pick up for your spouse or child with the same last name; you need only to present your own identification.
Is there race day packet pick up?
We ask that all pre-registered participants pick up their packet prior to race day at Chick-fil-A as noted above. If you are unable to pick up your packet during these times, you may do so at the event on race day beginning at 6:30am.

Will there be food or water at the finish line?
Bottled water, fruit, and healthy snacks will be provided to all participants after the 5k. Fun-run participants receive healthy snacks.
Will there be any post-race activities for families?
Yes. After the races, stay around after the event for music, fun, and celebration!!
Is there child care available during the 5k?
No! Please do not leave young children unattended during the 5k.
Is there a gear check?
Yes, there is gear check! We will put your belongings in a bag, write your Bib # on the bag, and keep it secured for you during the race. This is for simple items like keys and sunglasses. Please do not plan to leave high-value items with the bag check.
Will a water stop be available on the course?
Yes, just before the half-way mark. Water will also be available at the finish line.
Are there age requirements for the Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows?
The Fun Run is open to all ages.
Where does it start?
The Fun Run is in the same location as the start area of the 5K.
Can I run with my child during the Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows?
Parents may choose to run with their child if he or she needs help staying on course or is under 4 years old. Otherwise, we encourage you to stay at the start / finish line area to get great pictures!
If I run with my child, do I have to register for the Running of the Chick-fil-A Cows as well?
No! If you are helping your child, you only need to register your child for the Fun Run!
May a runner enter both the 5k and the Fun Run?
Certainly! The fun run will be completed a few minutes before the 5k start.
